| Meet Our Minister Stan Johnson
Stan moved to Summit County in 2002 from Medford,
Oregon where he ministered for seventeen years. Prior to that,
he served as a youth minister in Fairfield, California for
five years. He and his wife, Jessica, have two daughters and
three sons (ages 10 to 27), two son-in-laws and three beautiful
grandchildren. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was raised
in Stockton, California.
Stan received a B.A. degree with a double major
in Biblical Text as well as Ministry and Evangelism from Abilene
Christian University. He received his M.A. degree in Religious
Education from Pepperdine University. Both degrees included
a minor in Biblical Counseling. He serves as a chaplain for
the Colorado State Patrol.
You’ll find Stan wherever there are people!
Using their gifts of teaching, mentoring and counseling, Stan
and his wife love encouraging others on their journeys to
God. Stan is passionate about his Lord, his family, preaching,
talking to people (no one’s a stranger), helping anyone
who is hurting, showing hospitality to the many groups who
come and stay at our church building, skiing, fishing and
offroading with his jeep.
